🚨 #Urgent Update 🔥 In a strong and resolute address, Indian Prime Minister #narendramodi has responded decisively to the United States' recent move to impose a 45% tariff on Indian goods. This action from the U.S. comes amid growing concerns over India’s ongoing imports of Russian crude oil despite global pressures related to the conflict in #Ukraine . Speaking at the prestigious MS Swaminathan Centenary International Conference held in New Delhi, Modi reaffirmed India’s firm commitment to safeguarding its agricultural community. He highlighted the government's priority to protect the livelihoods of farmers, fishermen, and dairy producers — a sector that remains the backbone of India’s economy. > “The welfare of our agricultural workers is non-negotiable. Even if it means bearing significant economic consequences, India stands prepared to face those challenges head-on. The interests of our farmers and allied sectors will always come first,” Modi asserted emphatically. This statement clearly reflects India’s unwavering dedication to its domestic agricultural policies, despite mounting trade frictions with the United States. The #US administration justifies the tariff increase by citing national security risks tied to India’s oil transactions with Russia, labeling them as indirectly supporting a conflict that has destabilized global markets. However, India has firmly rejected these claims, calling the tariff decision unfair and highlighting inconsistencies in the global response. Notably, several European Union nations continue to engage in similar trade with Russia without facing comparable tariffs or sanctions. This development marks a significant moment in the evolving economic relations between two of the world’s largest democracies, with potential ripple effects across global trade and energy markets. $SOON {alpha}(560xb9e1fd5a02d3a33b25a14d661414e6ed6954a721) $PENDLE {future}(PENDLEUSDT)
