Tech mogul Elon Musk just gave users a sneak peek of X’s upcoming video and audio calling features, and crypto communities—especially $XRP and $SHIB—wasted no time reacting.

The post, shared via a retweet of “Dogecoin Designer,” showed how the new calling tools will work. Almost instantly, SHIB’s marketing lead Lucie jumped in with a hilarious GIF of the SHIB mascot “calling” on a banana: “Bring ring ring ring ring.”

Meanwhile, over in XRP land, @XRPcryptowolf reignited the old question: “When is X accepting XRP payments?”—a recurring theme thanks to the logo resemblance between X and XRP.

Though Musk continues to show more love to Dogecoin ($DOGE), the XRP and SHIB communities remain hopeful. Regardless, the overall crypto crowd sees these updates as steps toward Musk’s vision of an "Everything App".
