In early trading, the U.S. stock market experienced an upward trend. According to RTHK, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose by 720 points, or 1.47%, reaching 49,629 points. The Nasdaq Composite Index increased by 266 points, or 1.18%, to 22,807 points. Meanwhile, the S&P 500 Index climbed by 81 points, or 1.2%, to 6,880 points.
