UAE has joined Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, and Bahrain in launching a new GCC-wide travel initiative aimed at simplifying tourism across the region.

Key highlights:

Single GCC Visa: One visa allowing travel across all six Gulf countries, similar to the Schengen model

Unified Border Processing: Immigration and customs handled at one entry point

Tourism & Economic Boost: Easier multi-country travel for visitors, supporting regional tourism growth

🗓️ A pilot phase is expected in late 2025, with full implementation planned for 2026.

This move is expected to make Gulf travel more seamless and attractive for international tourists while strengthening regional cooperation.
