Brazil has resumed importing wheat from Russia for the first time since 2024, marking a significant shift in its trade patterns. According to Jin10, Brazilian importers purchased Russian wheat valued at $10.9 million in January. This follows a previous purchase in December 2024, which was significantly smaller at $1.1 million. By the end of January, Brazil had sourced wheat from only four countries, including Russia. Argentina remains the largest exporter to Brazil, with sales totaling $70.9 million, followed by Uruguay at $12.8 million and Paraguay at $11.7 million.
