What Is Plume $PLUME ?

Plume is an EVM-compatible Layer-1 blockchain specially designed to bring real-world assets (RWAs) on-chain — things like real estate, commodities, private credit, ETFs, etc.

🔍 Key Features & Use-Cases; $PLUME

Tokenization Engine: You can represent physical or financial real-world assets in token form, so they become usable in DeFi.

DeFi Integration: Use these tokenized assets for borrowing, lending, yield farming, or as collateral.

Compliance & Regulatory Tools: Plume builds in compliance mechanisms (e.g. AML screening) at a protocol level to help assets meet regulatory requirements.

Native Tokens & Incentives:

* $PLUME is the native utility token. It’s used for transaction fees, staking, governance, incentives.

* There are stablecoin-like or wrapper tokens, e.g. Plume USD (pUSD, backed by USDC), and a yield-bearing ETH derivative (pETH) in the ecosystem.

Regulatory risk. Tokenizing real-world assets involves legal, compliance, custody and regulatory enforcement issues. Even though Plume has built tools for compliance, the regulatory environment can change.

Liquidity & adoption. For RWAs to work well in DeFi, there needs to be enough liquidity, transparency, and trust in the asset sources.

Complexity. For average crypto investor, understanding tokenization, collateralization, etc., can be more complex than just holding a “regular” crypto token.
