Dogecoin is planned for integration with the Internet Computer blockchain through DFINITY's "Chain Fusion" technology. This was outlined in the 2025 roadmap update. 

The integration, known as the "Meridian milestone," aims to:

Allow ICP's canister smart contracts to directly hold and transfer Dogecoin.

Enable new DeFi capabilities for Dogecoin. 

DFINITY has indicated that integrating Dogecoin is relatively straightforward due to its similar design to Bitcoin.
