## $BTC Momentum Check: 2 Simple Scenarios I’m Watching (NFA)
Markets move fast, so I prefer a clean, repeatable process over predictions. Here’s a quick framework I use to read momentum and avoid emotional entries — **not financial advice**.
### 1) First, define the “decision zone”Instead of guessing tops/bottoms, I mark:- **Recent range high** (where price previously got rejected)- **Recent range low** (where buyers previously stepped in)- A **mid-range area** (where chop usually happens)
This helps me stay patient and only act when price reaches a meaningful area.
### 2) Two scenarios (no bias)
**Scenario A — Breakout continuation**If price pushes above the recent range high *and holds* (no instant snap-back), I’ll watch for:- A brief retest of the breakout area- Volume/volatility staying elevated- A clean structure of higher highs / higher lows
**Scenario B — Breakdown / pullback**If price loses the range low, I’ll watch for:- Fast sell-through + weak bounce attempts- Lower highs forming on rebounds- A return to the range that fails (fake recovery)
### 3) Risk > “being right”My rules are simple:- I only risk what I can lose.- I avoid oversized positions.- I don’t chase candles; I wait for structure.
