‎Walrus is a decentralized “blob storage” network for big files like images, datasets, and app logs. Instead of putting whole files on-chain, it encodes each blob, splits it into pieces, and spreads them across many storage operators so the data can be rebuilt even if some nodes go offline. Sui coordinates ownership, timing, and verification of stored blobs.
