Nami Cloud Makes Building on Walrus Easier for Developers
@Walrus 🦭/acc continues to attract tools that make it easier for builders to adopt decentralized storage and build real products. One good example is Nami Cloud, a new infrastructure provider that is built on top of Walrus and offers an S3‑compatible storage experience for developers. Nami Cloud removes much of the complexity that developers often face when moving apps from centralized systems like AWS into Web3. Using Nami Cloud developers can migrate existing applications to run on Walrus‑powered storage in minutes without needing to rewrite their backend logic. This smooth experience matters because most teams are familiar with standard cloud interfaces, and Nami Cloud gives them a bridge to decentralized storage with minimal friction. Nami Cloud also adds important features like fast RPC access and integration with Seal, a decentralized access control layer. Seal encryption makes it possible to store sensitive user data privately and control access using smart contracts. This combination unlocks use cases that were harder to build before such as secure messaging private auctions or confidential AI model training on encrypted data. The native link between Walrus and the Sui blockchain through Nami Cloud also gives developers reliable latency and consistent interaction with onchain smart contracts. With these building blocks in place more Web3 apps can run with decentralized storage without compromising performance or security. This piece of infrastructure shows how the Walrus ecosystem is maturing and encouraging broader adoption.
