Iran has closed its airspace and has set the Air Force on high alert: what's going on.
On the night of Thursday, January 15, Iran closed its airspace. It happened at about 00:15 Kyiv time (01:45 Tehran time).
This is evidenced by the data of Safe Airspace and Flightradar24. According to The Jerusalem Post, the Iranian authorities issued NOTAM (Notice to Airmen, that is, notification of air personnel) about the ban on all flights, except for authorised international arrivals and departures.
