Walrus focuses on the part of decentralized storage most systems ignore: the middle. Upload is done, retrieval hasn’t happened yet and that’s when nodes change, repairs lag, and responsibility blurs. Walrus tightens that handoff early, so when something breaks, ownership isn’t guessed later. It’s already agreed on.
