What really stands out to me is how Walrus is focused on data as a first class problem. Storage is something every Web3 app eventually struggles with especially when it comes to scale and reliability. Walrus is stepping into that gap by offering a network that can handle large data objects while staying decentralized and secure. That’s not easy to pull off and it’s why this layer matters more than many people realize right now.
The way the network is structured also shows long term thinking. Staking and participation aren’t just decorative features. They actually help align node operators users and the protocol itself. As more nodes join the network becomes stronger and more resilient which is exactly what you want to see at this stage.
