Crude oil futures rose during the US session on Monday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, crude oil futures for March delivery were trading at $59.42 a barrel at the time of writing, up 0.13%.
Earlier in the session, crude oil reached a high of $59.56 a barrel. Crude oil may find support at $58.57 and resistance at $62.20.
The US Dollar Index, which measures the performance of the US dollar against a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.37% to trade at 98.83.
Meanwhile, on the NYMEX, Brent crude for March delivery rose 0.06% to trade at $64.17 a barrel, while the spread between Brent and WTI crude oil futures stood at $4.75 a barrel.
