CZ (Changpeng Zhao): 12 Countries Want to Digitize Their National Assets

Binance founder, Changpeng Zhao, revealed that he is currently in discussions with 12 governments to issue digital tokens based on their national resources. How does this plan work? Countries will convert their infrastructure, real estate, or raw materials (such as oil and gas) into digital shares. Governments can then sell these digital assets directly to the public and raise large capital upfront. This allows governments to monetize their assets directly in the global market, rather than relying on borrowing. This step is considered a major revolution towards the integration of national economies with blockchain technology.
