Ripple USD (RLUSD) is a U.S.-regulated, dollar-backed stablecoin built for institutional settlement and cross-border payments. Launched in Dec 2024, it crossed $1B market cap, becoming the third-largest U.S.-regulated stablecoin.

Issued under NYDFS oversight, #RLUSD is 1:1 backed by USD and short-term Treasuries with monthly attestations. It enables 3–5 second cross-border settlements via Ripple’s Treasury platform and is available on #XRPL and #Ethereum $BTC $RLUSD
