💰 Most beginners lose crypto without realizing this 🔐

When I was new to crypto, I didn’t realize how important wallets were.

A crypto wallet does not store your coins — it stores your private keys.
Your crypto always stays on the blockchain.

There are two main types:

1️⃣ Hot Wallets (Online)

Connected to the internet 🌐

✅ Fast & convenient

❌ Less secure

Examples: Exchange wallets, mobile apps

2️⃣ Cold Wallets (Offline)

Not connected to the internet 🧊

✅ Extremely secure

❌ Less convenient

Examples: Hardware wallets, paper wallets

Wallet ≠ Exchange

Exchange = you don’t control the keys

Wallet = you control the keys

👉 Not your keys, not your crypto

Beginner Tip:
Keep small funds in hot wallets for daily use
Store large amounts in cold wallets for long-term safety.
