Circle has reported a notable decrease in the circulation of its USDC stablecoin over the past week. According to PANews, official data indicates that between January 23 and January 29, Circle issued approximately 5.2 billion USDC and redeemed around 8.6 billion USDC, resulting in a net circulation reduction of about 3.4 billion USDC. The total circulation of USDC now stands at 70.2 billion.

Circle's reserves are approximately 70.3 billion USD, comprising overnight reverse repurchase agreements in U.S. Treasury securities worth about 41.2 billion USD, Treasury bills with maturities under three months totaling around 18.8 billion USD, deposits in systemically important financial institutions amounting to approximately 9.4 billion USD, and other bank deposits of about 1 billion USD.
