South Korean stocks experienced a notable rise, closing with an increase of nearly 1.6% and setting a new record high. According to RTHK, the Seoul Composite Index initially fell by almost 1% but later reversed its course. It closed at 5,371 points, marking an increase of 83 points, or 1.57%.
