The Silent Collapse of Social Bonds##
This passage highlights a deep social change: the gradual loss of family and community connection. Families now function more like temporary shelters—people leave for work during the day and return at night only to sleep. Meaningful interaction, shared discussions, and mutual guidance have nearly disappeared. Traditional community spaces like the hujra and mosques once brought generations together, where elders spoke, youth listened, and character was shaped naturally. Today, these spaces are empty, and if elders do gather, they are often dismissed by the younger generation as outdated. Even when people sit together, mobile phones keep them emotionally distant. Religious leaders, once mentors, now perform rituals quickly with little engagement. As a result, the continuous process of character-building has weakened, and moral values no longer hold the same importance in society.
