That’s a huge leap from where it sits today, and it would put the whole Ethereum network’s value close to $4.8 trillion, assuming a supply of about 120.7 million ETH.
For Ethereum to get there, the market has to attract and hold onto around $4.4 trillion in new demand—money that can’t just show up and then disappear. This isn’t about a quick surge or a wave of hype. Ethereum needs to keep capital locked in, even when the market gets rough. People would need to hold or stake their ETH for the long haul, which means less ETH floating around as new buyers come in. The price won’t climb if every rally gets wiped out by people cashing out. So, the key is for Ethereum to keep soaking up new demand and moving more ETH out of circulation, over and over again, through different cycles—not just relying on one-off speculative frenzies.
Ethereum’s Price Tries to Push Higher, but Supply Keeps Things Tight
Right now, Ethereum is working on a comeback after months of sliding lower. It’s bumping up against a tough resistance zone around $3,350—a level that’s stopped rallies before. The price action feels careful, not wild, with ETH responding more to chart levels than to sudden bursts of buyers.
After the latest CPI inflation numbers dropped on Tuesday, ETH jumped 7% in a day. That news put some spark back into crypto markets overall. Ethereum managed to climb back above its rising trendline during that move. Higher lows are still in place, so the recovery seems steady, not just a blip of volatility.
At the moment, ETH is holding around $3,325, just above that rising support. But it’s still stuck under a ceiling of sellers. If Ethereum can close solidly above $3,350, there’s a good shot at a move toward $3,600—that’s the next spot where sellers showed up in force last time. If buyers keep control past $3,600, then $4,000 comes into view.
Technical signals support the uptrend: the Parabolic SAR is still underneath price, and the RSI is near 65, showing strong but not overheated demand. But if ETH can’t break through the supply above, the price probably settles back into a sideways grind, and the outlook gets a lot less exciting.
