Deals: Moonlight and Phoenix.
The other huge addition under Dusk tech stacks is known as Moonlight that facilitates publicly transparent transactions, and fully interoperates with the privacy-friendly transaction model, Phoenix - a publicly transparent and privately interactive system between the user, exchange, and the institution can interact and trade publicly and privately. This provides both Dusk 2 transaction models, and provides the best of both worlds, in essence.
The sender roles of a Phoenix transaction were also included in the receiver and Phoenix is now more of a privacy preserve protocol instead of an anonymity protocol which would be legal in the current EU laws.
The addition of Moonlight came on the realization that incorporating the exchanges and other organizations would be simplified by the introduction of the simplified public version of transaction model alongside the current privacy preserving version of account. This will keep us on the right track and help us avoid chances of delisting and we have created a beauty of a solution that will be capable of permitting the private and the public transacting as well as one is able to switch between the two by just clicking a button.
Dusk Network has a considerate and authentic approach to transactions. It chooses not to be either entirely transparent or entirely privative but both. Dusk is an initiative that gives freedom of choice as opposed to most blockchain initiatives that purport to offer this but fail to keep their promises as Moonlight and Phoenix engage.
Moonlight introduces into society transactions that are easily traded, institutions and services. This is essential because compatibility is very important in the real sense. Trades and financial markets tend to be characterized by availability of transparent information on transaction that will facilitate their operations and fulfill policies. Dusk offers a consumer transaction model and removes friction and makes integration easier.
Phoenix on the other provides security of the user. It allows one to have the transactions confidential but legitimate and safe. Phoenix is not unique except that it is its development. It is no longer concerned with anonymity but alternates to privacy with accountability because it allows the receiver to identify the sender. This indistinct difference is a major one especially in domains where there exist strict laws. These are the privacy protection and compliance.
This is a balance, which, personally, impresses me. This does not mean that lack of privacy is equated with lack of banking, and that compliance, nonadherence to personal protection. Dusk goes ahead to show how these two ideas can co-exist.
It is also strong that one can change between Moonlight and Phoenix by simply taking a small step. Users do not have a single mode. The latter can have public transactions when needed and a private one when they require coverage. This is what makes the network not only ideal but also possible.
I believe Moonlight and Phoenix are a dream of the blockchain transactions which are fully grown. Instead of the technology adapting the world, Dusk is adapting the real world to the technology. This sort of a attitude will be what will see Dusk becoming a good firm in the long-run.
