It was two months ago that @LighthouseWeb3 rolled out x402, a solution designed for pay-per-use IPFS uploads anchored by Filecoin storage. Under this protocol, every initial call elicits a standard 402 Payment Required response. To proceed, the user must remit payment in USDC on the @base chain. Afterward, the client resubmits the request accompanied by the transaction hash, and once verified, the CID is provided.
