The Bedouin of old had a famous saying:

"The spear is precious, but the prey is a tank."

Meaning that pointless battles with trivial people steal your life, distract your thoughts, and hinder your plans. After a while, you'll realize you fought battles that had nothing to do with your life, and that they distanced you from your true self.

Many things in our lives don't even deserve our reaction. It's better to live in peace and do without millions of pointless battles.
