Binance CEO Richard Teng said the recent drop in Bitcoin’s price is “in line with most asset classes” — attributing it to investor deleveraging and broad market risk-aversion.
He also reassured that though founder Changpeng Zhao remains a controlling shareholder, day-to-day operations are handled by a board with independent directors and an independent chairman.
Bitcoin ($BTC ) is down ~ 21% in November, sliding from its October all-time high around $126K amid broad market deleveraging.
