The scammer, posing as a Finnish woman operating a yoga business funded by a cryptocurrency firm, convinced him to invest and appeared to show large profits. Ultimately, the victim had to pay fictitious capital gains taxes and later discovered the trading platform was fraudulent and his money vanished.
