Alright community, quick XPL check in because a lot has quietly moved forward lately.
Since mainnet beta went live, Plasma has been leaning hard into the stablecoin first vision, not just talking about it. We now have the core rails in place with PlasmaBFT consensus and the ability to move USDT with zero fees using authorization based transfers, which is honestly the kind of boring feature that becomes life changing once people actually use it. On top of that, USDT0 support has made it way easier to route liquidity across chains, and seeing major exchange flows support it is a real signal that Plasma is becoming a serious settlement route.
Infra wise, plugging into Chainlink as an official oracle layer helps builders ship with more confidence, and the Elliptic compliance integration shows Plasma is aiming for real world payment scale, not just DeFi weekends. Also, the NEAR Intents integration is a big deal for smoother cross chain swaps without making users feel like they are bridge operators.
This is the kind of progress I want: less hype, more usable money rails.
