I am really excited watching Dusk Foundation and the DUSK network after the DuskEVM mainnet launch this January. What stands out to me is how easy it is now for Solidity developers to build private smart contracts without learning anything new. Public blockchains leak too much data and that stops serious deals so Dusk uses zero knowledge proofs to keep transactions private while staying compliant. I like how users stake DUSK for fast blind bid consensus and deploy contracts with built in KYC and AML rules through Piecrust VM. Institutions are already using it for private bond tokenization and cross border settlements. To me it feels like Dusk is finally bringing traditional finance and DeFi together in a practical way.
