They’re not optimizing for speed alone or privacy alone. They’re balancing responsibility. The design choices reflect that. Two transaction paths instead of one. Built in rules instead of external enforcement. Deterministic settlement instead of uncertainty. I’m noticing how little noise comes from the system itself. That tells me the design philosophy was to remove friction, not add features. They’re building infrastructure that institutions can reason about without giving up privacy. I’m drawn to that restraint. It feels intentional. They’re not trying to impress everyone. They’re trying to work for the right use cases. That kind of thinking ages well.
