What's interesting is say 20 years ago you bought $SPY, $GLD and $SLV you would be in the exact same place today, about 10.6% ann. But.. this time last year, silver was only 4.5% annualized. It made up a 5% ann gap over 20yrs in 12mo flat = patience is so crucial. 90% of investing is just hanging in there.
