I have increasingly lost interest in those introductions to public chains that are piled up with a bunch of performance metrics. The reason is simple: performance is certainly important, but it is more like water, electricity, and gas - a basic condition, not a decisive advantage. What truly makes a difference is whether the chain can accommodate a completely new user form - not human users, but AI agents, enterprise automation processes, and a whole set of backend workflows that can run without an interface.


You will understand if you put yourself in the shoes of an AI agent. The agent does not appreciate your UI, nor will it patiently look at the prompts; what it wants is 'to be able to perform tasks when they arise, to complete them, and to know when to stop if something goes wrong.' This turns the so-called AI-ready from a buzzword into a very engineering-oriented requirement. When I now assess whether a chain is AI-ready, I will first ask: has it considered from the ground up how to connect memory, reasoning, automation, and settlement into a closed loop? Without a closed loop, so-called intelligence can only remain at the demonstration stage.

Let's start with memory. Many people treat 'data on the chain' as memory, but what agents need is not a pile of raw data but a semantic context that can be called repeatedly. It should remember your company's rules, customer history, task progress, and even 'who to notify in case of anomalies.' If memory only exists in off-chain databases, it may be convenient in the short term, but once you cross applications, teams, and ecosystems for collaboration, you will encounter annoying fragmentation: what the agent learned in system A cannot be used in system B; or the same thing recorded inconsistently in different places, leaving humans to clean up the mess. Vanar's discussion of semantic memory layers like Neutron and myNeutron seems to be a targeted solution because it at least attempts to turn 'contextual persistence' into an infrastructure capability rather than an external plugin.

Next is reasoning. The real world is not a multiple-choice question; doing it right once doesn't count as skill; you have to be able to explain why you did it. Especially in scenarios like payment, RWA, and corporate compliance, black-box reasoning makes people hesitant to delegate authority. Many projects say 'AI can help you make decisions,' which sounds great, but if an accident occurs, you'll find that without explainability, there is no boundary of responsibility, and therefore no scalability. The greatest value of decentralized reasoning engines like Kayon, in my view, is not to make answers smarter but to make the reasoning process more like an auditable procedure, which is the premise for companies to delegate key actions to agents.

Then there's automation. Here, I will be more direct: automation is essentially a risk amplifier. A human can stop and recheck after making a mistake once, but if an agent has no safeguards, it may make several mistakes in a very short time, and it won't feel guilty. True AI readiness is not about making agents freer but making them more controllable: which actions can be executed automatically, which must be confirmed twice, which conditions must immediately freeze the process, how to roll back after a failure, how to record, and how to hand over to a human. What Vanar refers to as Flows, in my understanding, is translating 'intelligence' into 'safe automated actions.' How well this step is done determines whether intelligence can move from demo to production environment.

Finally, it's settlement, which means payment. Many people talk about AI agents as if they are science fiction, but the reality is that agents do not play with wallet UX. What they need is compliance, global reach, and orchestrated settlement tracks, ideally directly serving real economic activities. Without a settlement loop, the earlier memories, reasoning, and automation can only be considered 'thinking' and cannot be deemed 'capable of doing tasks.' Vanar places PayFi at the core positioning; I prefer to understand it as a kind of clarity: for intelligence to land, it must be able to complete the step of value exchange; otherwise, it will always remain on display.

Looking further, AI-ready will naturally lead to cross-ecosystem because the workflows of agents won't be trapped in one chain. Vanar's technological capability spans to more ecosystems (for example, starting from Base to broaden reach); the significance is not just 'expansion' but allowing this intelligent stack to enter more complex and real calling environments for repeated friction. Whether intelligent infrastructure can grow into long-term value relies on this kind of repeated usage rather than a burst of enthusiasm.

So now I prefer to see AI readiness as a very straightforward statement: enabling agents to complete tasks within the system, safely, clearly, and traceably. As long as this task continues to be validated, value accumulation will shift from emotion-driven to usage-driven.
