#DFINITY Partner for Sovereign Cloud Infrastructure and AI Software Systems
Pakistan Digital Authority (
#PDA ) and DFINITY have signed an agreement in Islamabad and Zurich to establish sovereign digital infrastructure for Pakistan.
Key Highlights:
Pakistan Subnet Development: DFINITY will create a dedicated Pakistan Subnet on its Internet Computer Platform (ICP), providing Pakistan with sovereign, tamper-proof cloud infrastructure independent of foreign cloud providers.
National Messenger Application: A national messenger app will be developed to provide private and verifiable communications for Pakistani users.
AI Platform Access: 1,500 Caffeine licenses (DFINITY's AI platform) will be provided to support application development and capacity-building across government, education, and entrepreneurship sectors.
Local Presence: DFINITY will establish a local presence in Pakistan to support long-term collaboration and technical engagement.
