This Saturday, did you wake up with a ledger on fire?
The famous
#UptoberMoon promised by influencers has turned into #Redtober.
The “it's fine
#pump ”, “to the moon” and other #TELEGRAM prophecies have taken a bitter taste on #Binance, #coinbase or #kraken this morning.
For weeks, some content creators have multiplied predictions: “the
#Bullrun starts”, “the #whales are accumulating”, “don't miss the train”, the #weakhands will be excluded.
Bircoin is down about - 8%. #AVAX has dropped more than 30%.
Some have bought, sometimes with #LeverageEffect. Some have convinced their loved ones to embark on the adventure.
But when the charts turn red, a question slips between two candles, especially when they become candles:
could an investor who relied on the speech of a #crypto influencer one day question their #personalresponsibility?
In
#belgium , the law protects freedom of expression, but also punishes fault, even if involuntary.
Influencers are neither licensed advisors nor financial intermediaries. And yet, their voice sometimes moves significant amounts. While some act out of passion, others derive substantial financial benefits not from their investments in crypto, but from business partnerships, notably with #exchanges.
Can we imagine one day that “it's going to #pump” or "#tothemoon" could justify a conviction for damages?
