On March 18, 2025, the AI trading robot AiXBT suffered a security breach that resulted in the loss of 55.5 Ethereum (approximately $105,000). The attacker was able to access the secure control panel of the robot, allowing them to execute malicious transactions that led to unauthorized fund transfers from AiXBT's Simulacrum wallet, which is used to execute on-chain operations through interactions on social media.
