The Japanese investment company Metaplanet has significantly expanded its ownership, acquiring an additional 319 BTC at a cost of approximately ¥3.78 billion ($26.3 million). This purchase brings the company's total Bitcoin reserves to 4,525 BTC, making it the ninth largest public holder of Bitcoin in the world.
