There are two types of market orders: buy and sell. When you choose 'Buy', you are instructing the broker to purchase a specified amount of the asset at the market price or the best available prices. When you choose 'Sell', you are instructing the broker to sell a specified amount of borrowed asset units at the market price or the best available prices, with the aim of buying them back later when the price drops to make a profit, and this process is sometimes referred to as 'short selling'.
