"The alert that no one could explain: the true case of the SNM/USDT pair"

In November 2022, Binance issued an unusual alert about the SNM/USDT pair. Sonm (SNM), a nearly forgotten token that had been in a coma for years, without volume or movement, suddenly skyrocketed more than 7,000% in a matter of hours.

No one understood anything. There were no news, no announcements, no visible reasons. But the order book filled up with bots buying absurd amounts, and the price rose as if an invisible force was dragging it up from the depths of the blockchain.

Several traders who entered in FOMO got trapped. Others disappeared from the radar, closed their accounts, or simply sold instantly and never spoke of it again. Binance issued warnings. The pair was removed.

But the question remained:

Who revived SNM?

Was it a whale? A coordinated attack? A code glitch?

Or... was it something else?

Today, in every #BinanceAlphaAlert, the most attentive check if any dead token starts to move. Because when a crypto ghost comes back to life, it doesn't always come alone.

And sometimes, it wants to drag you with it.
