#OneBigBeautifulBill Law to provide for reconciliation under Title II of H. Con. Res. 14, colloquially but unofficially known as the One Big Beautiful Bill (OBBBA; OBBB; BBB), or the Big Beautiful Bill, is a budget reconciliation law passed by the 119th Congress of the United States that contains tax and spending policies that form the core of President Donald Trump's second-term agenda. The bill was signed into law by President Trump on July 4, 2025. Prior to being signed, the Senate passed the bill 51-50 on July 1, 2025, with Vice President JD Vance casting a tie-breaking vote in favor of the bill. The OBBBA was approved by the House of Representatives, 218-214, on July 3, 2025. The bill was passed despite universal Democratic opposition in both chambers.
