Bitcoin Technical Analysis – Rising Wedge Breakdown
Bitcoin recently formed a Rising Wedge pattern, which has now broken down. The daily candle closed above the $111,000 level yesterday, indicating a potential short-term bullish move.
Given this price action, we could see an upward move toward the $113,000 to $114,000 range. This may serve as an exit opportunity for those who entered long positions around $112,000 to $114,000.

Bitcoin Dominance at Critical Support – What It Means for Altcoins

Bitcoin Dominance is currently sitting at a key horizontal support level — a zone where it has historically shown strong reactions. When dominance is above this area, it tends to bounce upward. When below, it typically gets rejected. At the moment, it is still holding above this level.

In my view, as long as this support holds, we are unlikely to enter a full-blown Altseason — the kind of rally where altcoins typically gain 50–70% across the board.

However, this changes if we see one or two weekly closes below 57.5%. That would be a clear breakdown of support and could lead to a much stronger performance from altcoins.

Historically, dominance has often briefly dipped below this zone, creating fakeouts. If it happens again — a quick drop below 57.5% — it might be wise to exit altcoin positions, especially if it doesn't confirm a breakdown.

What’s the Strategy?

If dominance drops below 57.5% and then recovers quickly (another fakeout), it’s best to stay cautious with altcoin entries. But if we get weekly confirmations below 57.5%, that could signal the start of a new Altseason. Until then, patience is key.

USDT Dominance (USDT.D)

If we look at USDT Dominance (USDT.D), it has also reached its weekly support zone and is currently attempting to bounce from it. Historically, when USDT Dominance moves upward, both BTC and altcoins tend to decline, as it reflects capital moving into stablecoins.

A Falling Wedge pattern is also forming on the chart, which typically breaks to the upside. However, according to the pattern structure, there's a chance USDT.D could first dip toward the 4.20%–4.00% range. If that happens, we could see a short-term bounce in altcoins, which I believe could present a good exit opportunity.

After that bounce, if USDT.D starts rising again, it may lead to another downward move in both BTC and altcoins — which could then offer a potential buying opportunity.

WRAP
If we combine all the points mentioned above, it's clear that a short-term bullish move could happen very soon — possibly this week or next week. This move could serve as a good exit opportunity, after which you should wait for a correction, which will give us a great chance to buy at lower prices.

Around the time of the rate cut expected next month, we may start to see a market correction. This correction could:
Bring SOL down to $150
Pull ETH from $3,800 back to $3,600
And cause a 30% to 40% drop in many altcoins
So, prepare yourself for this potential dump, so you can buy cheaper and from lower levels.
