First time trading Futures – 1 winning order, but the most valuable thing is not in PnL
First time in Futures, my hands were shakier than when I was depositing money.
It's not because of the fear of losing money, but the fear of losing control of oneself.
2. I won 1 order. Not much profit.
But I am not happy in the way of 'taking advantage of the market'.
Because in that order, I have:
No FOMO
Don't hold onto losses
There is a stop loss before entering
And I realize a somewhat harsh truth:
👉 Futures don't kill newcomers due to lack of knowledge, but because of excess emotions.
Sending to those who have ever lost:
Blowing an account doesn't mean you're bad.
It's just that this market has higher tuition than I expected.
Sending to new friends like me:
Don't leverage high from the start
Don't enter an order when you don't know 'if wrong, where to exit'
Winning 1 order doesn't make you a master
The market doesn't reward the brave,
but pay someone who knows when to stop at the right moment.
I am still very inexperienced.
But at least, I'm still in the game.
👉 How was your first Futures order?
Winning or losing doesn't matter — the new lesson is what counts.
