Web3 has been shouting 'Mass Adoption' for so many years, why are there still fewer active users than a second-rate Web2 app?
Is it because the technology is lacking? Not entirely.
It's because the entry point we built is too 'hardcore'. 🚪
The current public chain is like the DOS system of the 90s, where only geeks would operate using command lines. To enable ordinary people to seamlessly switch from scrolling Douyin to playing Web3, there is an 'experience gap' of a hundred thousand miles in between.
My deepest understanding of Plasma (XPL) is not how fast it is, but that it is currently the only infrastructure dedicated to making blockchain 'invisible'.
