ALERT ⚠️⚠️⚠️

One of the things that has allowed us to have some control over our money is P2P arbitrage. At first, it means paying the price, but as features like posting ads become available, that control increases.

The problem is that along with this, scammers appear. In my case, I experienced a common situation: a user paid me almost 5 minutes after a sell order was automatically canceled. Then he wrote to me saying that he had paid.

The order was already expired and I had no option to release it. My reaction was to want to return the money quickly, so I asked for the details. The user wrote to me outside of the Binance chat, using my phone number, and to my surprise, it was a number with a Nigeria prefix, insisting that I send him the dollars by ID.

I refused and told him that everything should be handled through the Binance chat. I went to support, as I could not appeal an expired order. An operator guided me: I sent the canceled orders and the proof of payment. Binance froze the amount, managed the return, and asked me to inform the user that they would take care of the process.

Conclusion: very good support from Binance. Handling everything within the official platform was key.
