Then COMP shows up on the gainer board like a match near gasoline: $20.87 (+29.87% 24h). That’s not “random green” — that’s momentum announcing itself.
Now I’m watching for the real confirmation: rising spot volume that stays elevated after the first hype candle (ideally 1.5×–2× the recent average), dominance shifting where BTC stops hogging the oxygen and alts keep their bid, and whale behavior like chunky withdrawals (accumulation) instead of deposits (distribution). If the next pullback is shallow and buyers defend quickly, that’s usually the market saying: we’re not done.
What I’m watching next: a clean retest and hold of the $20.2 area, and then a push into the next liquidity pocket. If COMP loses the level below, I’m out — no arguing with the tape.
