An old predecessor who has dealt with engineers and powerful figures all his life told me: To stand firm in this secular tide, one needs the support of noble people to rise swiftly. The following points must be remembered!
1. The strong set the rules, while the weak pursue fairness. But rules are often only used to restrain the weak, and fairness only exists relatively. It’s like playing chess: when playing with the big brother, whether you can cross the river depends on him; when playing with the younger brother, whether the pawn can retreat depends on you.
2. There is an iron rule in socializing: if you say good things, you can manage 50% of people; if you give something, you can manage 70% of people; if you say good things and give something, you can manage 90% of people; if you cater to their preferences and provide appropriate benefits, you can manage 99% of people. The remaining 1% need not be considered.
