OpenEden, a platform for tokenizing real-world assets, announced on X that it has regained full control over its website domain and subdomains' DNS settings, restoring normal operations. According to ChainCatcher, OpenEden revealed that its website experienced unauthorized DNS record modifications, leading to a domain hijacking incident. Following a joint investigation with security partners and infrastructure service providers, it was confirmed that the event did not affect any smart contracts, internal systems were not breached, core applications remained intact, and reserve assets were unaffected. All reserve assets can be independently verified through Chainlink's Proof of Reserve. OpenEden plans to enhance security measures for its domain and infrastructure.
