The Hong Kong Gold Exchange commenced its New Year trading session with an opening ceremony. According to RTHK, the local gold price for 99 gold opened at HKD 46,518 per tael, marking an increase of HKD 93 compared to the last trading day of the Year of the Snake.
Additionally, the exchange showcased nearly 800 gold and silver bars, weighing close to one ton and valued at approximately HKD 200 million.
