@Pyth Network #pythroadmap $PYTH
Data-driven future, Pyth is redefining financial market infrastructure.
In today's era where data is an asset, Pyth Network has transitioned from a DeFi oracle to a significant provider of institutional-grade market data. With the launch of its second phase, Pyth is expanding its influence to the over $50 billion market data industry.
Vision: All prices on-chain
Pyth's grand goal is to establish a globally universal price layer, allowing anyone, at any time and place, to easily access high-quality market data. The traditional financial system suffers from issues like data manipulation, fragmentation, and lack of transparency, while Pyth offers timely, accurate, secure, and transparent data solutions through a decentralized approach.
Currently, Pyth supports over 120 blockchains, providing more than 1,200 real-time price data streams that are integrated into over 600 applications. Its cumulative trading volume has surpassed $1.6 trillion, capturing about 60% of the market share in the DeFi derivatives space.
Second phase: Institutional-grade data subscription product
Pyth's recently launched Pyth Pro marks its official entry into the traditional financial institution market. This product aims to eliminate inefficiencies, blind spots, and rising costs in the traditional market data supply chain.
· Comprehensive Coverage: Pyth Pro offers over 2,000 data streams covering all asset classes including stocks, futures, ETFs, commodities, forex, cryptocurrencies, and fixed income
· Extreme Performance: Data is updated at millisecond frequency, with uptime exceeding 99.9%, and end-to-end latency below 100 milliseconds
· Cost Transparency: Adopts a transparent subscription model, with a free basic version and a premium version costing $5,000-$10,000 per month, far lower than the traditional vendors' $250,000 monthly fee
Several leading institutions, including Jump Trading Group, have participated in the early access program for Pyth Pro, demonstrating strong market demand for this new solution.
