Binance founder @CZ (@cz_binance) has issued an immediate public safety warning, confirming that the official @BNBCHAIN X (formerly Twitter) account may have been compromised. The alert was issued following suspicious activity on the highly influential account.
The incident is a critical security risk for the entire community. Hacked social media accounts, especially those belonging to major blockchain ecosystems like #BNBCHAIN, are frequently used by attackers to spread phishing links, airdrop scams, or malicious decentralized application (dApp) links designed to drain users' wallets.
