🔐 Highlights from the past week from @zama Protocol
Hello everyone! Here is a quick summary of the most notable developments regarding Zama this week.
1. Zama acquires KKRT Labs
Zama officially acquires KKRT Labs — a strong research team focused on ZK-proof and blockchain scalability. This deal helps Zama accelerate the development of ZK-rollup, aiming for performance exceeding 10,000 TPS on Ethereum and Solana.
This is a step forward for Zama to not only be a confidential layer but also to become a high-speed platform for DeFi, payments, and security applications.
2. Creator Program Season 4
Zama announces season 4 with a reward pool of $53,000/month and a more transparent point system.
Simply creating content (articles, videos, slides, meetups, translations) gives you a chance to receive rewards + NFT OG.
Zama also releases a technical slide deck and roadmap — useful resources for newcomers and developers.
3. Developer Program – September results
A total of 672 submissions, 309 valid entries. Some notable projects:
• Belief Protocol – conviction market using FHE
• CAMM – secure AMM based on Uniswap V2
• Confidential OTC Marketplace
• Privacy AMM – ERC-7984
• UniversalPrivacyHook – private swap on Uniswap V4
These results show that the Zama developer community is growing very quickly.
4. Announcement of 18 Genesis Operators
Comprising 13 KMS nodes + 5 FHE Coprocessors. Major names include: Figment_io, Conduitxyz, InfStones, P2P Validator, dfnsLabs, Etherscan…
The MPC security model helps split the private FHE key and distribute it to multiple operators to enhance safety and verification capability.
5. Information about the token $ZAMA
According to community updates: $ZAMA will be used for secure transaction fees and staking.
• 100% of fees will be burned
• New tokens minted to reward operators
Expected fees range from ~$0.005 to ~$1 depending on the type of transaction.
