Tom Lee was recently "mocked" in the community.
He retweeted an article optimistic about the 2026 crypto market, but the comments section was not very supportive. Some directly mocked him, saying such remarks do not help his current credibility.
Tom Lee's response was as sharp as ever, even with a hint of sarcasm. But when someone pointed out that he had adjusted the ETH target price multiple times in the past and that his logic was inconsistent, he clearly got a bit emotional and directly insulted the other person as a "clown."
In fact, this is not the first time.
Earlier this year, industry insiders publicly questioned his theory about ETH; even more embarrassingly, his own team recently had a rather cautious outlook on next year's market.
What I feel the most about this matter is:
Analysts can revise their views, but the market will not unconditionally accept them.
When predictions increase and realizations decrease, trust will naturally be consumed. $BTC
